The Adega Ribatejana in the center of Golega is a newly opened wine, lunch and petiscos bar in a gorgeous old building.
The building has been completely recovered and was a wine producing adega. Lots of the old features and the grapes have remained and the atmosphere is that of an old typical taberna.
It deserves to become very popular as the wines are of good quality, the petiscos exceptional and the ambience just perfect for long lounging, tasting wines and trying great Tapes.
One we can suggest is the local fish called Fataca that the Adega Ribatejana prepares according to a secret and locally famous family recipe made with a sauce that is left to ‘ripen’ for a year before being served.
The Adega is a perfect setting for a real Golega experience!
