Belbin in your organization
Teams perform best when each team member has clear responsibilities. However in some situations a team may have clear responsibilities and roles but it may still fall short of its true potential.
Dr. Meredith Belbin studied this behavior for years observing teams as they work together he observed that team members tend to take on roles that determine how team members communicate, interrelate and contribute to a team effort in a particular way.
He isolated nine team roles that underlie a teams success and developed methods and trainings that can be practiced and learned to create better and more efficient teams.
