The Casa Grande do Serrado is an eighteenth century guesthouse douro region, which boasts a typical Douro architecture and traditional painted ceilings. Located 9 km from Peso da Regua, lies in the heart of the Douro Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.All comfortable rooms at Casa Grande do Serrado have heating and free Wi-Fi. Most rooms have a shared bathroom, while some have access to a private bathroom.

Every morning a breakfast buffet in the dining area of ​​the property. Guests can use the fully equipped communal kitchen to prepare their own meals. In addition, there are local restaurants about 2 km from the accommodation, and most serve traditional Portuguese food.

Guests can enjoy a visit to the traditional vineyards of the property, which also offer panoramic views of the Douro Valley. Moreover, they can observe the harvesting process and actively participate in the production of wine, for an extra charge. The Casa Grande has a comfortable common living room with sofas where guests can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings.

Peso da Regua, whose most famous sights are the Douro Museum and the Casa do Douro, is 13 minutes by car. In Peso da Regua, guests can also take boat trips on the Douro. The nearest train station is located in Peso da Regua, 12 minutes by car. Vila Real is a 25-minute drive and features the famous Casa de Mateus, with wines and quality jams.

The house has 2 double rooms with shared bathrooms for the price of € 40 (as of June passes for € 45), 1 twin room with shared bathroom for 40 € (from June to spend € 45), 1 suite with private bathroom for € 50 (as of June passes to 55 €) and a suite with private bathroom for 60 €.
