The Casas da Moagem rural hotel is a hotel close to the Alentejo coast set in the beautiful Baixo Alentejo landscape.
In the village of Santo Domingo, 18 km from Santiago do Cacém and 15 km from Alvalade, The casas da Moagem hotel was founded the recovered old flour grinding factory of José Mateus Vilhena, this factory became redundant in 1982 but the mill was recovered with all its machinery which than gave rise to the Flour Museum.
The space defines a tremendous love and dedication to the past.
The old barn and dwelling house were recovered for rural tourism and became the Houses of grinding – Casas da Moagem.
It is the ideal place to enjoy a break at any time of year, to enjoy rural tourism, the museum and the beaches of Lower Alentejo.
