Porto has a rich and diverse gastronomy based on the many regional ingredients available from its fertile landscapes and coastline. Situated on the coast and close to the Northern mountains it has an abundance of ingredients that over the centuries have contributed to dishes that can be considered “typically from Porto”
Its most famous dishes are possibly the Francesinha and the Tripas à Moda do Porto (tripe Porto style) but its culinary riches don’t stop there.
In the cooking workshops you will learn to prepare typical dishes under guidance of an executive chef in a relaxed and pleasant surrounding. You may choose to start the experience with a visit to the down town market where you will buy the freshest ingredients used during the workshop. When you’ve created your master pieces you will sit them to enjoy them together with the other participants.
This experience is one you will cherish and you possibly will go home and want to cook more Portuguese food!
