The up & fast becoming trendiest part of Lisbon, the Alcantara doc is booming with activity. Art galleries, night clubs and designer shops and ateliers are what mark this area and great restaurants old and new are a magnet for tourism and locals in this area.

Doca Peixe is one of the oldest restaurants on the docs of Alcantara and noted by many as one of the best fish restaurants in the area.

Doca Peixe buys its fish fresh from the market each day and as you walk in the restaurant you can choose straight away which fish you want to eat. Prepared in the tradtional way, grilled, salted or from the oven the fishing traditions of Portugal are celebrated in culinary dishes handed down through the generation but for the more adventurous Doca Peixe has a nice selection of modern day dishes where creativity with ingredients celebratesall the sea has on offer.

Doca Peixe is located on the Alcantara docs with views over the marina and Tagus river.
