The recovery of travel after Covid
After almost two years of working from home, strict lockdowns and travel restrictions, travel to Portugal is recovering at a fast rate.
At the beginning of September the countries vaccination rates have reached 81% and counting and many of the restrictions that remained throughout the summer months have now eased or dropped making it once again possible, with consideration for certain rules, for individuals and groups to plan there incentives and events in Portugal.
With a Covid cancellation policy in place at the time of booking, many are once again planning face to face events in Portugal.
Group flight guarantees
Not all airlines provide cancellation policies but many of the airlines we work with will provide vouchers to the full value of the flights booked that can be used at a later date, in case of further travel restrictions in the future
Rules about meetings, congress and events (12 September – current)
At the current moment indoor events are allowed if the group does not occupy more than 75% of the space capacity.
This rule is set to be dropped when the vaccination level reaches 85%.
For hotel stays each lodger must show the covid certification. Proof of vaccination, covid recovery or a valid antigen test.
Dinners and lunches are limited to group size on each table, 8 indoors and 15 outdoors, this also until vaccination levels reach 85%.
Hotels during and after Covid
Hotels have been awarded the Clean & Safe label. During Covid they have followed a course on extra hygiene. Those who managed to comply with the regulations on hygiene and cleaning methods to avoid the spread of Covid. We work only with hotels that have received this label.
The best team building after covid
Needless to say that we are all dying to get out and meet our colleagues in real life again. As Portugal has a great climate most of the year outdoor activities are suggested in most cases.
Social distancing and fresh air will keep everybody extra safe. Safety will remain important as we all ease back into normal life.
