The market is set in the Baixa district of Lisbon and is the main central market. In the last years the market is being rehabilitated to become a gastronomy centre that coexists with the food market. Restaurants are opening and it is being promoted a the ‘taste center’ of Lisbon.
It is well worth a visit to get a local gastronomy experience and acquaint yourself with typical Portuguese produce and dishes!
