O Faroleiro restaurant, Cascais located on one the most beautiful spots on the Guincho coast is the oldest restaurant in Guincho with a reputation for great sea food in the traditional Portuguese style.
At the seaside of the touristic village of Cascais, between Lisbon and Sintra, in a unique and protected landscape that merges the blue of the Ocean and the green of the Sintra Mountains, you may find a symbol of our cuisine – O FAROLEIRO – the oldest and the most traditional restaurant in Guincho.
Widely known abroad, the dishes are prepared according to old recipes and well-kept secrets. O Faroleiro combines a recent remodelling with an exquisite decoration in sand tones, reflecting the sand dunes that surround it. With capacity up to 140 people, comfortably seated, it has three cosy rooms, a bar with a fireplace and large windows to a superb landscape.
