Pezinhos no Rio Restaurant cafe, Constãncia

Pezinhos no Rio terrace
Pezinhos no Rio view////

Also in Constancia, with a perfect view of the Tagus and a large sunny terrace, you will find a restaurant called Pezinhos no Rio (feet in the river).
It is far away from the atmosphere and ambiance of the Quinta de Santa Barbara restaurant but it not less interesting.

Pezinhos no Rio is a modern restaurant with a modern concept and it’s quite unique in this part of Portugal. The terrace is so nice that you can easily spent a few hours there, reading, enjoying the tagus view or having a good time with friends. The owner believes in good food and plenty of it and it has a touch of an international atmosphere about it.

It caters well to any type of customer and at any time of day.
Full meals are only served during lunch and dinner, many snacks, sandwiches, petiscos and even a freshly baked hamburger can be gotten outside of these times.

Some of the dishes Pezinhos no Rio serve are a steak on the stone (a stone grilled steak that comes with the stone to your table so you can grill it exactly the way you like it), a local river fish called fataca, much like sea baars. deep fried chicken legs, salads, a stewed octopus dish and delicious home made chips.

They serve a good house wine and various regional bottled wines, the owner is a nice guy full of jokes and the waiters and waitresses pleasant, helpful and friendly. They all have a basic understanding and knowledge of English.
