Now we travel through the western parts of Ribatejo above Santarem.
We will be discovering part Ribatejo’s rich and abundant history, tasting some of its famous wines and foods, visiting the Ribatejan amazing architectural and cultural heritage and enjoying activities in the waters of its rivers and it’s many river beaches and the sky above Ribatejo.

It has earned its name as ‘the noble hearth of Portugal’ and is home to many wine quintas, regional restaurants, horse breeding farms, water activities such as canoeing, swimming, sail surfing and fishing. Its architectural history goes back to the Romans but most prominent are the knights Templar and it has many monuments man made and natural that proudly back its rich and noble heritage.
Ribatejo is all you need to have a perfect and complete holiday no matter what your interests are.
