Vineyard to Table – Wine Tour

Vineyard to table tour is one of the nicest tours of the moment to leave Lisbon for 7 hours and visit some of the most beautiful family run vineyard estates in the surrounding districts. The areas closest to Lisbon that produce the best wines are Alentejo, Alenquer, Ribatejo, Colares, Setúbal e Azeitão some only at 30km distance will already give you the perfect introduction to Portugalś wines, wine producing processes and the people who produce them.
The day is combined with tasting of the wines and a lunch either at the estate or in a restaurant close by.

The tour is made custom to your groups wishes, budget and district preferences, one thing we guarantee is a wonderful day full of wonder, great views and wonderful manor house estates that are so unique to Portugal and to the wine culture of this country.

We depart from Lisboa by car or van towards one of the wine making regions that surround Lisboa. We will visit beautiful small country villages that almost look dormant, but that have long histories of producing great wines and that are home to the vineyard that we will visit.

The vineyards that we work with are mostly family-owned estates and the guided visits to the vineyards and wine cellars will be guided by a family member, an oenologist or a wine expert, all passionate about the estate, wine making and the wines that are produced there.

Informal lunch or picnic can be arranged at most vineyards and will always be paired with some of the wines produced at the estate.

Depending on your group’s time and availability we can visit several estates in the same region and taste their best wines with some local delicacies.
