Amendoeira Golf Resort is a resort built around golf, sport, luxury and leisure. The resort features elegant self-catering apartments and villas with swimming pools.
All the apartments are spacious, well equipped and modern and all apartments have overlooking the lovely gardens.
The apartments are decorated with style and common sense to make your stay as comfortable as possible
Apartments start at a 2 bedroom version but for couples or people traveling alone and using only one bedroom there is a reduced price available.
At breakfast you will be amazed at the richness of the breakfast buffet and the restaurant as excellent Portuguese and international cuisine.
We can supply a welcome food pack to be placed in the accommodation before the clients’ arrival making sure all the essentials are in place. We offer a Starter Food Pack and a Special Food Pack – our reservations team can define which suits the clients’ needs.
We can even arrange for champagne and flowers to be placed in the apartment for a special occasion.
The Oceanico Academy and the Amendoeira Golf Academy & Fitting Suite are available to improve the practice of this sport. The Amendoeira Sports Club includes facilities such as a fitness center; 2 five-a-side football fields, 6 tennis courts and a fully fitted gym with spacious changing rooms.
A complimentary on-site shuttle bus is available and during July and August a shuttle is offered to the local beach at Armação de Pera.
The resort is ofcourse mostly about the popular sport, golf and the Amendoeira Golf Resort has two stunning championship golf courses, both designed by legendary names in golf – Sir Nick Faldo and Christy O’Connor Jnr. Each course is of contrasting design and will offer a challenge to both professional and amateur golfers.
The Oceanico Faldo Course has been designed with strategic play in mind and demands careful positioning to score well; rocky outcrops, meandering watercourses and views to the distant mountains and orange groves define its essential character.
The Oceanico O’Connor Jnr. course perfectly complements the Oceanico Faldo Course whilst taking advantage of the rich valley soil in contrast to the arid hillside. It is a course which offers no less of a challenge, large areas of water demand accurate play and creative shot making with the lakes and streams being maintained as a wildlife sanctuary.
This resort offers a host of other facilities for the discerning golfer. The Amendoeira Golf Academy & Fitting Suite has state-of-the-art club fitting technology and a variety of training programs. The outdoor practice facilities include the par 3, 9 hole Oceanico Academy course, a driving range, a practice putting green, and long and short game practice areas.
Guests at Amendoeira Golf Resort benefit from preferential rates on the two Amendoeira golf courses and on the five Oceanico golf courses in nearby Vilamoura.
