Aromatherapy accommodation Casa dos Aromas, Serra dos Candeeiros is a small hotel in the small village Alvados in the Serra dos Candeeiros, Central Portugal.
Aromatherapy is becoming a unique way to provide hotel guest a lifestyle experience in some of the worlds most luxurious hotels. Aromatherapy provides relaxation, rejuvenation and rest and it takes part in a total wellness experience. It has been practiced for over 6000 years in various cultures and is based on the use of essential oils that have been extracted from plants, flowers, herbs, or trees to aid physical, mental and emotional health. TThe Flor da Serra accommodation is owned by 2 people that are very passionate about “their” mountain, its plants, flowers, herbs and trees, some of them unique to this area.
They have become experts in the extraction of oil and have all the necessary equipment to produce the oils used in their accommodation. All the oils are self produced from the local nature and are 100% natural.
This is honest accommodation, where parts of the great mountain experience are reflected in the accommodation.
The oils they use do not have a brand and are not for sale, the owners do believe that a natural balance, nature, views, wildlife and scents work to make you feel relaxed, more concentrated and more at ease with your busy life but they also hope that it will help you understand better the mountain and all its beauty
The accommodation is exceptionally well built using local rock, marble and calcareous , wood from the surrounding lands and recycled woods in the floors that can only inspire with its amazing craftsmanship
The decoration and furniture are simple but stylish. Each of the rooms has an open plan bathroom INTERNET TV and room service for those that need it.
The communal areas consist of a sitting room with fireplace and large glass doors to the terrace, a small kitchen that can be used freely by the guests. A terrace with a view of the village, church and mountain with tables and chairs for dining or lounging.

The garden with fruit trees, herbs, vegetables and plants that where gathered from the surrounding mountains and replanted. The food produced can be freely used by the guests who wish to cook on their stay.
Breakfast at the neighboring restaurant is included in the prices. Half or full board is possible.
