The Activity
The Castelo do Bode lake is the largest lake in Central Portugal also known as the blue lake. It’s a lake caused by the damming of the Zezere river and its waters provide the central area with drinking water and electricity and it is noted as the cleanest water in Portugal.
The lake has a length of 66km and has many inlets and islands making it a perfect spot for boating and water activities.
For those who have a skippers license boats can be rented per hour, half-day or full-day.
For those who don’t, guided boat tours are available accompanied by a professional skipper.
