[tab name=”Information”]
The Café Santa Iria has a modern approach to snacks and lunches than the more traditional Portuguese ‘pastelaria shops’ as it has a large selection of sandwiches, baguettes, quiches, salads and several different types of toasts making it a very popular place for a quick lunch or snack in a changing Portugal.

The Café Santa Iria is also famous for tasting a typical Tomar drink called Mouchão dos Templários. It was invented by Francisco Gonçalves Vicar and has become the most traditional drink in Tomar.

The cafe was taken over this by it’s current owner who has managed using a new concept to change Café Santa Iria into a very pleasant and popular café.
The original furniture and bar have remained and give the place a timeless feel.[/tab]
