A nice, new innovation in Evora is the Cafe Tiborna, wine tasting and tapas Evora. A Tiborna is a traditional Alentejo dish, its base is Alentejo bread and olive oil, although Couscous is provided as an alternative.
To the Tiborna are added little specialities that are about taste, the Alentejo taste.
Tiborna uses less than traditional choices to create a modern dish using old principles. They have added the Mediterranean elements to up the taste to a more adventurous experience.
The cafe is located in the center of Evora close to the Giraldo Square in a monumental space.
The wines served are all from Alentejo gathered from the wine estates in the district, a wine tasting in this cafe is a relaxed, informal experience that breaths Alentejo hospitality!
