The decor and ambiance of the restaurant is breathtaking and emphasizes the luxury and attention to detail that the restaurant Casão do Largo offers.
The restaurant is situated in the small village of Marialva as part of the Casas Do Coro country houses resort.
At dinner in a magical ambiance full of candles, the best of our gastronomy is also what moves us to provide you a special moment.
Just to mention a few, we have prepared the following specialties: deboned kid with roasted potatoes; chestnut and vegetable roll; codfish puree roll with crispy bread; partridge pie in the cocotte; coriander rice with stewed grouper; roasted octopus with green sauce; mix of tomato, asparagus and chitacki codfish with eggs Benedict; game meat sausage – “alheira”- with eggs and blood sausage rice in a cabbage bed with Port wine reduction.
Joana’s desserts, traditional convent-made desserts, village desserts, ancient desserts, pumpkin tarts and ice creams.
The typical Freixinho cookies –“cavacas” – covered by sugar or that pure sheep cheese that keeps on pouring out of the dish, along with our pumpkin compotes with or without almond or red pepper compotes.

Breakfast without time restriction
Departure in bike in the middle of olive trees and vineyards without losing sight of the Historical Village across magnificent off-road trails.
As to the most “stressful” ones, the electric bikes will be ready, for no one has to worry if one loses his/her breath during the tour!
As you get to the Vineyard Lounge, there will be a surprise for you!
In the middle of nowhere you will find everything you need to relax in the open air, surrounded by nature, and you can even take a nap on the huge pillows and blankets spread in the floor.
During the evening relax with a Ayurvedica massage with essential oils in the new Eco Friendly Concept Spa.
The Ayurvedica massage provides a physical, mental, psychic and spiritual transformation.
It has therapeutic component, relaxed and energetic.
It lasts 50` and is made individually.
After the massage there is nothing better than a Port Tonic on the SPA terraces tasting a toast of cheese Queijo Serra da Estrela and a red pepper jam!

You will have everything ready to put your lay hands on under the guidance of our chef! and we ensure that then you only have to relax at Casão do Largo with a flute of sparkling and enjoy lunch which promises to be a challenge to your senses!
Transfer to the Cais do Pocinho
Sunset cruise to the Foz do Côa on Casas do Côro boat with a toast to life (sparkling wine rose encontro)
Return to Casas do Côro
Dinner slow outside in the ateliê do côro between candles, olive trees, stars and jazz lounge music.
We give priority to organic products from our biological garden or from local producers thereby promoting sustainability and fair trade.
We favor the moments shared around the table, traditional cuisine with a contemporary twist and foremost the simple pleasure of having time to savor.
Dinner includes: amouse bouche, entree, soup, main course, dessert buffet and four wines carefully selected by Paulo.
At the end of dinner, 40 minute, a night walk across the village, so that you can release more calories and marvel at a starry sky, while listening to the silence of the night and contemplating the wonderful views over the village! walk where in addition to burn calories and enjoy the silence, gets to know the best views of Casas do Côro and the beautiful historic village of Marialva.
