Coasteering on the Island of São Jorge – Azores
Coasteering is a recent sport activity, which consists of progressing along the coast by rocks and sea, using swimming, climbing, rappelling, slide, water jumping and walking.
The island of São Jorge offers excellent conditions for this sport. With its volcanic rock shores, clear waters and a landscape where wild nature is always a constant, it is an excellent spot for Coasteering.
Throughout the course participants are monitored by Aventour guides and monitors, who will assist in the execution of techniques and all safety procedures.
This program can be done by families, groups or by individuals. At the end of a day of discovery on the island, there is nothing better than finishing Coasteering, with the backdrop of Pico Mountain in the background.
During the summer this activity can be done in the late afternoon. If you prefer, please let us know on the reservation.
