DROP SURF CENTER
Drop Surf Center is a surf school focused on delivering high quality surf coaching in Baleal, Peniche, Portugal. The surf school has been open since 2006 coaching tourists and locals. Nelson Silva, the owner, is Portuguese and local to the area and speaks fluent English, Spanish and a little Italian. He has more than 15 years experience in surf and surf coaching. Our students range from beginners to advanced and the classes are organized into small groups based on ability to ensure that coaching quality is always of a high standard. Nelson has a lot of experience with children and the school accepts students from 7 years on. Top rated on Tripadvisor we continue to strive to be the best surf school in the area. We offer group and private classes and all the necessary equipment, transport, insurance etc is provided inclusive of the surf class prices.
ACCOMMODATION
Captain’s Log House is a new boutique style hostel offering accommodation with an experience to always be remembered. The hostel has 6 rooms and has maximum capacity of 20 persons. There is a combination of private and dorm rooms all with en-suite shower and WC + an additional 2 guest WC’s in the house. It is located in the heart of Baleal 2 minutes walk from the beaches, surf, bars and restaurants. There is a wonderful garden to relax and soak up the Silver Coast sunshine, a BBQ area, a sports zone for all sports equipment to be assembled and safely stored. An excellent WiFi service is available with satellite television. There is a fully equipped kitchen were guests are free to make themselves at home cooking lunches and dinners. A simple breakfast is provided inclusive of the price with an upgrade to the Legendary Captain’s Brunch available on request.
