Espinho is mostly known for its beach and its Casino. The beach is one of the longer beaches close to Porto, its also one of the busier ones, very popular in the summer.
Prices of most of the cafes and resstaurants along the beach are a little higher than the national average but not very much.

Espinho beach has places to rent surf equipment or learning centers,
many hotels and restaurants and lots of activities. We are currently trying to find the best to add to Go Discover Portugal that havent been nominated as tourist trap.

The casino belongs to the same owner as the Estoril casino and is a main reason for many people to visit Espinho

Espinho is also home to CINANIMA which is the Festival Internacional de Cinema de Animação, an international animation festival.
