Furadouro beach is a large sandy beach close to the town of Ovar and 40km from Porto. The beach is quiet most of the year but during the summer months reasonably popular, its never over crowded.

Furadouro is a quiet seaside town with a large choice of restaurants and some activities. In the hotter months it becomes a lively seaside town.
