The Lisbon Zoo is a part of historical Lisbon existing for 133 years and consisting of outdoor and indoor spaces. It is home to 2000 animals spread  over 300 species.
We invite you to travel around the world without leaving Lisbon. Find the Sumatran Tigers in the dense vegetation of the Rainforest, observe lions, giraffes and elephants behaviour at the dry African Savannah and dazzle with the majestic flight of the colourful birds of South America.

The mission is to develop and promote a zoological and botanical park, as a centre of conservation, reproduction and reintroduction of endangered species, through scientific investigation and environmental enrichment programs.

Along with education is a strong entertainment component that will ensure a great family time, always with the conviction that when visiting Lisbon Zoo you’re contributing to this great project of conservations of endangered species and their habitats.

The Zoo is also optimally equipped for events of any sort.

The different spaces available for events are

The Auditorium suitable for groups of up to 96 for events, meetings, celebrations, theatre etc
The Avenida 1400 M2 open air space for product launches, team building games, open air entertainment etc
The Philharmonic square 1140 M2
The Party room 650M2 for up to 500 People
The outdoor theater 324M2

Other spaces

Next to the event spaces the zoo has a dolphins bay, zoo train, cable cars, reptile house, children’s farm, restaurant and picnic area.
