Lisbon’s changed … It’s different, more worldly, and bold, but it will always continue to conceal a world of mysteries … My story began here, in Praça da Alegria, the dancing, the music echoing off the walls … the essence of bohemian Lisbon. I designed the Maxime Hotel to be like a cabaret: provocative and burlesque. The show is in every corner of the boutique hotel and its 75 rooms and that’s what makes it different from all the other hotels in Lisbon.
