Berardo museum of contemporary art

Museum Berardo Lisbon is the reference for contemporary art in Lisbon. Situated close to the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos and the Torre de Belém in the prestigious parish of Belém Lisbon, it is a landmark for those visiting Lisbon that are interested in contemporary art.
The museum has a permanent exhibition of the Berardo Collection and in the vast array of temporary exhibitions by artists from diverse cultural backgrounds and contexts, who have contributed to the art history of the last century.

The Museu Colecção Berardo also offers a broad program of activities for all ages (for example, paths through the exhibitions and family visit-workshops) which in an original and informal way educate about contemporary art and the artist the that have contributed to modern art as we know it, Marcel Duchamp, Pablo Picasso. Salvador Dalí, Andy Warhol, Francis Bacon, Maria Helena Vieira da Helena Silva and Helena Almeida.
