Pousada Castle of Obidos, historical hotel is one of the lovely culural and typically Portuguese Pousada hotels, this one is situated right next to the castle of Obidos and by itself a lovely historical experience you will cherish.

At the initiative of António Ferro, Pousadas were designed to “accommodate visitors and provide them with food in accordance with the style of each region.” in 1941, they are a very typical of Portuguese culture and are not classified by stars as modern day hotels are.

The building of the Pousada is truly medieval, beautiful and consisting of small rooms, winding staircases and historic comforts. Just outside you will view the castle at a close distance during your entire stay and the pleasant surroundings of Portuguese history expose themselves through the little winding, cobbled streets that have made this old mountain town so loved.

It has a twin room with 34 square meters in size, bathroom with bath. With a living room, a sofa and two armchairs, wardrobe, safe, desk, air conditioning, fireplace, mini-bar and TV, indoor terrace. The room can accommodate adult / extra child sleeping on additional single bed.
