Climbing Tour in Madeira
Climbing is an activity that offers an unlimited range of sensations as well as a constant balance between body and mind. The desire to climb and reach the top is natural to mankind.
What once was done to satisfy needs and/or challenge ones own very existence is now done to test ones limits and prove to oneself how far one can personally reach when faced with a large rock or a mountainous natural wall. This activity can be carried out in various places in Madeira.
This activity is located in the East of Madeira and in the heart of the Natural Park, more precisely in Caniçal (Baía d’abra), where rocks and sea come together to form a unique landscape in a paradisical place.
The level of difficulty is low/medium where routes reach a maximum of 15 meters height, therefore suitable for all ages with or without experience. Briefing of safety rules, material usage and climbing techniques are carried out right in the beginning. The climb will start on easier walls and gradually upgrade in difficulty.
