The Arrabida natural park is a unique and beautiful mountain range on the shores of the Sado estuary just 30KM south of Lisbon. Because of its sheltered location it provides water activities all year round often more accessible than the wilder west coast.
Diving is a result of the will of men to explore the unexplored underwater world. Although it is not very often present in our lives, the sea is still the most mysterious and less known habitat on Earth.
The dives in the Arrabida, take place along the coast line of Sesimbra, in the Prof. Luís Saldanha Marine Reserve. Here you find the biggest biodiversity in Europe.
The sea is generally calm all year round and some of its attractions are the many ancient shipwrecks and its its incredible marine life.
This makes Sesimbra one of the best diving spots in Portugal.
Available are try dives for the absolute beginner, certified courses and dives for experienced divers.
