Surf lessons in the world famous surf location of Nazare, Portugal, possibly the most exciting place in the world for learning surf.
In the winter Nazare’s waves have been measured as high as 40 meter and these waves were boldly conquered by famous surfers of whom Garrett mcNamara must be close to the biggest adrenaline seeker alive, having surfed a tsunami in Alaska, surviving a monstrous wave at JAWS and breaking the world record for highest wave surfing in Nazare in 2013 by riding a 30M wave. These waves occur in the famous point of Praia do Norte in Nazare and for those learning to surf this would not be the best location!
Nazare surf school teaches surf in the more friendly location of Nazare beach and other beaches in the proximity and also provides body board and SUP paddle board lessons, the lessons are adjustable for absolute beginners to experienced surfers.
