Tasca do Ti Lopes is one of those undiscovered excellent local places that we love to present on GodiscoverPortugal! The Tasca do Ti Lopes is a typical historical tavern in the small town of Linhaceira on the road from Tomar to Constancia, both well known towns and popular among visitors. Linhaceira however, though lovely and typical, is seldom visited and mostly passed through by people travelling through central Portugal. May we suggest a visit to this lovely town and specifically the tasca – tavern for good wine, delicious Petiscos (Portuguese Tapas) and just to sit in the private garden or the gorgeous 18th century tavern.
It´s very typically local with a lovely historical and authentic feel!
Tasca Ti Lopes has been a tavern for over 100 years and has been run by the same family from the start. The current owner has decorated gorgeously in the style that it would have originally had and she has managed to create a nice, comforting ‘home’ feeling to the place that makes for perfect wine tasting surrounding, dining experiences based on Petiscos (Tapas) or full meals (by reservation only!)
On warm summer days the terrace provides a nice shadowy place to relax and have coffee, drinks, wines or snacks.
All in all Tasca do Ti Lopes is a place we can warm heartily suggest to anyone travelling to Central Portugal
