A Bespoke Team Building Experience in Porto
Blending authentic gastronomy, cultural discovery, and immersive exploration, this Porto team building challenge offers a genuinely different way to connect a group through shared moments, good food, and a little competitive spirit. Set against the backdrop of one of Portugal’s most characterful cities, the program weaves interactive team challenges together with carefully curated food and wine tastings.
Groups explore Porto on foot, by electric tuk-tuk, or a combination of both, working through a series of tailored activities designed around your team’s profile and objectives. The route is bespoke throughout the centre of the city: tuk-tuks can carry the group as far as the port wine houses of Vila Nova de Gaia, while the Ribeira itself, with its cobbled riverside lanes, is only accessible on foot. A typical challenge runs 2 to 4 stops, and depending on your group’s preferences and the distance you’d like to cover, the route can extend further still, up to the Sé Cathedral or the Torre dos Clérigos.
In its extended version, teams uncover Porto’s heritage through landmark visits, local encounters, and storytelling, all paired with tastings that showcase the region’s culinary identity and world-famous wines. Porto’s oldest and most enchanting districts, with their labyrinthine cobblestone streets and hidden squares, are only reachable on foot. The Ribeira itself is car and tuk-tuk free, so teams navigate its charming alleys, decipher clues tied to local legends, and solve puzzles amid stunning riverside architecture between tasting stops. Depending on your group’s pace and preference, the route can climb further still, up to the Sé Cathedral or the Torre dos Clérigos.
The Tuk-Tuk Challenge
Ride in convoy through Vila Nova de Gaia’s historic Port wine houses, where the tuk-tuks can go right up to the cellar doors. From there, the group continues into the Ribeira on foot, since its riverside lanes are pedestrian only, keeping the day playful and sociable while comfortably covering more ground, whatever your group size.

A Sensory Journey Along the Douro
This experience gently winds along the iconic Douro River in Porto’s oldest and most picturesque district, the Ribeira. Teams embark on a sensory journey through two or more exquisite tastings of famous Portuguese wines, perfectly paired with typical Porto tapas, known locally as petiscos.
