Most companies will spend at least some time on a team building or various team buildings so that people can get to know each other better, learn to work better together or learn new trades in a relaxing, communicative environment.

Winter team building ideas for any group size

Fado team building

Make your teams compete in this cultural and fun team building conducted by professional Fado singers. Fado means destiny or fate and originated somewhere as early as the beginning of the 19th century. It became the music of the people and although it originated in Lisbon it quickly evolved its own unique style in other locations of Portugal.
Many times people will spontaneously start singing fado in the streets and bars  making op lyrics that relate to daily life.

In this workshop teams are challenged to create a Fado and perform it. The theme can be defined depending on your preference but maybe company related, product related or a work floor related theme. This team building requires role playing and definition, collaboration and communication. Combined with a Fado dinner and professional Fado show this is a perfect team building for the end of the day but it can be organized at any time.

Wine Challenge

The wine challenge know your wine! is a popular workshop for relaxing communication while learning about one of Portugal’s main products , Portuguese wine! Team are presented with 3 regions and 6 wines  or 4 regions and 8 wines, all with their own unique character depending on the district they originated from. They are than presented a blind tasting and based on the info presented by our Sommelier and a short reader they are asked to analyze and identify the wines. Accompanied by Tapas or followed by lunch or dinner this is another great team building to create better bonds.

 

Film team building

Specifically for large groups that enjoy excitement and limelight this team building was created by Go Discover to compliment the sales departments team building needs. Accompanied by advertising professionals, camera crews and TV producers, your teams will feel like TV stars for a day as they role play, develop their concept, market their concept in the warm glow of the spotlight.
