Sintra can only be described as an impressive fairytale from ages past. This UNESCO World Heritage town is the former home of kings, queens, and poets. Its many palaces in and around the town give an account of the glory of Portugal from the Moors to its last royalty. Its nature is lush and beautiful, and its parks are magnificent.
The challenge
The castle challenge is a walking challenge combined with transfers where necessary, in and around the city. Your group divided into teams will be challenged to get to know Sintra. Your team will take photos, learn about history, and decipher riddles in a day or half-day full of excitement and discovery in the most magical town of Sintra.
The castles
Sintra has 4 main castles/manor houses that are included in various challenges but challenges do best when concentrated on 1 or 2 visits depending on the chosen castle(s) or in a full-day challenge 3 or all 4 depending on the energy levels of the participants.
Difficulty levels
Our difficulty levels are mostly based on the interests of the participants. They range from sporty fun to managerial and leadership team building.
