Torel Palace, means two historic mansions dating back to 1902 and 1904, owned by a private family and the church respectively. Situated on the Colina Sant´Ana in the very heart of Lisbon, Torel Palace looks over the city centre, a hidden gem and calm paradise in the hustle and bustle of the city.

Torel Palace, means a lovingly renovated, elegant yet cozy home for visitors from all over the world. From our garden with pool and the terraces you can enjoy breath-taking views over the city centre all the way to the river Tejo. When renovating, we took great care in keeping the character of the buildings while at the same time ensuring a modern touch and comfort with specific attention to detail.

The concept …

The Cave 23 is the compromise between classic and traditional Portuguese cuisine techniques and bold flavors. Pride in domestic products is evident and this passion translates into a genuine, modern kitchen, where the ingredients are the protagonists.

Cooking is storytelling, a language of flavors and aromas, and we believe we have a lot to tell.

The pool

Start the day with an early-morning swim in our pool or enjoy a quiet end of your sightseeing day with a few laps while the sun sets in front of you. Let your mind drift, enjoy the splendid view over the city, and relax in our lounge area. Our pool is at your disposal at all hours, and our concierge will happily assist you with providing your pool towels. To complete your pool experience, it will be our pleasure to serve you drinks and snacks at the pool and in the lounge.
