The Vincci Baixa hotel is the Vincci chain’s first hotel in Portugal. This is one of the best situated hotels; in Lisbon right in the centre of Lisbon and less than 7 km away from the airport.
Vincci Baixa is set in a privileged location in the “Baixa” shopping and banking district, one of the city’s liveliest areas. Baixa has a wealth of shops, dozens of open-air bars and is popular with musicians and artists, giving it a bohemian air that is very much in keeping with the rest of the city.
To the north is the Rossio district, with a wide choice of restaurants serving dishes that will appeal to any lover of good food, such as fresh fish and seafood cooked to special recipes or “a la grelha” (grilled), fish and seafood rice cooked and served in earthenware dishes, and the typical “caldeiradas” and stews. Top quality cooking, using excellent fresh produce from the Algarve, from Cascaís, the Portuguese shellfish sanctuary and from the Setúbal peninsula south of Lisbon.
