Windsurfing is an exciting water sport that combines sailing with surfing,
Wind is what powers this type of surf and there are different ways to practice this sport and use the wind to power the sail. You can glide peacefully on a smooth sea, jump the waves or get high speed surfing using the wind to gain speed.
To practice this sport in Portugal we chose the best spots in Meia Praia on Baia de Lagos and Martinhal, near Sagres, the prevailing wind in the summer is from the Northwest heat off shore wind, flat water and strong wind allow for Freeride, Slalom and Freestyle windsurfing.
The condition are right for windsurf baptisms for all ages that are capable of standing on the board and hold the sail and we provide lessons conducted by professional teachers using the latest equipment. Equipment rent is also possible.
