This large holiday house is on the Avenida Atlantico within walking distance of the centre of Colares. The house is a few hundred meters from the famous Colares winery, which makes the Colares wine based on the only surviving fully European grape which only grows in and around Colares.

 

The house is spacious and allows accommodate up to 18 people, having 2 living rooms, 1 dining room, 1 game room, 6 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, 4 bathroom with shower, 1 outside toilet and 2 kitchens.

On the 1st floor is the entrance hall, living / dining room, a suite with shower, 2 double bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 fully equipped kitchen and another suite with shower.

At level 0, which is a continuation of the garden and pool area, we have another suite with full bathroom, a second kitchen to support the barbecue and a games room with snooker, table tennis, darts, and more games social for adults and children.

The exterior has pergola with garden furniture, barbecue area with table and chairs for 16 people and pool (10 x 5 m), surrounded by wood and grass deck, with coverage for child protection. There is also a playground for basketball, volleyball, badminton and mini-tennis, a sand area for soccer, volleyball and Turnball, and a sandbox for children.

Finally there is an attic with natural light and very colourful, which has 4 single beds and for adding other beds. There is a corner for the little ones (with a small table and chairs, toys, etc.)

The Yellow House is ideal for families, with play areas for everyone, allowing enjoy both the beach and the mountains (both 2.5 km).

The neighborhood

Yellow House, family home situated in Colares, in the coastal area Sintra, is on the main boulevard leading to the beaches of Apples, Praia Grande, Azenhas do Mar, Magoito and others, in prime area of ​​family housing, easily accessible by car, multiple public transport at the door, including the tram that connects Sintra to Praia das Macas.

The four minutes of the Yellow House will find all the serviçosque need for an enjoyable holiday: the Praia das Macas, tennis school, surfing, football, horse riding, playgrounds and saltwater pools with huge slides.

Restaurants of seafood, pizza, bars, cafes, pastry specialties of Sintra “pillows and cheesecake,” terraces from which you can enjoy the spectacle of the sea while savoring a nice coffee or soft drink, pharmacy, clothing stores, crafts, ice cream parlors, post office, newspapers and magazines, plus several mini-markets!

Large supermarkets and shopping centers are a 15-minute drive, as well as Sintra, with its palaces, monuments, castles, museus- a town of fairy tales!

A hundred meters from the house you can find the cellars of the famous Colares wine, one of the few grapes that resisted the plague of phylloxera in the late 19th century, which destroyed 90% of Europe’s vineyards.

Go and come

A 35 km from Lisbon and its airport, 8km from Sintra (UNESCO World Heritage Site), which has railway station and trucking terminal, can be moved by bus, taxi or even the electrical picturesque linking Sintra to Praia das Macas and that stops just outside of the “Yellow House”.
